Will pool water soak and ruin the nylon watchband?

Possibly over time due to chlorine.

It should not affect either the sport band or the nylon band except over a lengthy period of time. The nylon band does get wet (I wouldn't say soaked) but wearing it your body heat dries it rapidly.
